Limerick defender Gavin O'Mahony is still eyeing a Munster SHC medal.

The Shannonsiders take on Tipperary in the Munster championship at Semple Stadium this Sunday and they go into the match as massive underdogs.

O'Mahony is now six years on the panel and his goals have never changed as winning a provincial title is high on his list of priorities.

"Unfortunately over the last few years when you won't have that much success it becomes harder and harder to dream big, but we are in this to win the Munster championship, otherwise we wouldn't be here and to do that we have to beat Tipperary first on Sunday," O'Mahony stressed to the Limerick Leader.

"There is always set-backs and in Limerick we have certainly had our fair amount of setbacks in the last few year and as long as I have been involved, but at the same time if someone said to me that I would be involved with Limerick for 15 years to win one All-Ireland, I would snap the hand off them and that's what I always say to myself."
