Roscommon manager Des Newton
Roscommon manager Des Newton admits that he has been studying Galway's game in recent weeks.
The sides clash at the weekend in the Connacht championship and Galway go into the match as favourites, but the Rossies have been boosted by the return of their under-21 players.
Newton revealed to the Roscommon Herald that he is looking forward to the match following a good build up to the game.
"We've been looking at Galway forensically over the last couple of weeks since their league campaign ended," Newton explained.
"We have put in very good preparation. It is going to be a big challenge. I suppose people that play on football teams are competitive animals by nature. We look forward to these challenges and we love them really."
