McGarrity return imminent

Ronan McGarrity is one of seven Ballina players that have reportedly retired.
Ronan McGarrity is set to return to the Mayo senior football squad.
The Ballina midfielder, who hasn't featured at intercounty level since last year's All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Kerry, is flying with his club at present and will be brought back by James Horan to bolster his centrefield area reports the Connacht Telegraph, which looks especially weak in the absence of the O'Shea brothers.
Despite not being part of the county panel, McGarrity is understood to have been training particularly hard with Ballina and on his own since the start of the year in a bid to get back close to full fitness.
The results have been very impressive if his recent club form is anything to go by and word circulating within the county is that he could be back with Mayo as soon as this week.
Another boost for the Connacht champions is that Aidan O'Shea is on course to play some part in the June 24th Connacht SFC semi-final against Leitrim or London at Castlebar.
