Curran calls for Corbett patience

Tipperary's Paul Curran gets out in front of Kilkenny's Richie Power
Tipp captain Paul Curran is urging fans to be patient with Lar Corbett.

Corbett is back on board with the Premier County hurlers but Curran has warned that he has no chance of featuring against Limerick in twelve days:

"I don't see him being anywhere near it. For a lad who hasn't done anything since February, he couldn't be right.

"They think Larry is going to come on and score three or four goals, but sure he has been flat out with his pub and other business ventures and he has no training done."

The full back continues in The Irish Daily Star: "And I know he suffers from his hamstrings - so he'll have to be careful too.

"I'll just be saying to them to relax and give him time to see how he gets on. Supporters are getting a bit excited about it - he's four or five weeks of hard training to put in before he'll be up to championship pace."
