Horan keen to plan ahead

Mayo manager James Horan
Mayo's James Horan feels that they must put the league final defeat to Cork behind them and move on.
Horan admitted that he was disappointed by their performance as Cork won their third consecutive national league title on the bounce.
However, when speaking to the Western People, Horan stressed that they must use the positives from the league campaign as they prepare for the Connacht Championship.
"We've made a lot of progress over the course of the league," said Horan. "We've learned a lot about a lot of the players.
"We have a lot of players who, if they keep improving will be very competitive. We'd have liked to win a national title, but we got to the league final and learned a lot along the way so it was a good league for us."
