Ulster Council reduces ticket prices

April 26, 2012
The Ulster Council has drawn praise from hard-pressed fans after reducing its admission prices for this year's provincial football championship.

The move comes despite increased attendances at the Ulster club and U21 football championships as well as the Dr McKenna Cup. In general, however, GAA attendances have been down as the recession continues to bite hard.

U16s will be allowed into non-ticket games free of charge, while a concessionary rate will apply for students and senior citizens. Family packages will also be put in place.

Ulster admission prices for quarter and semi-finals will be as follows - Terrace, adult: £12/€15. Student/ senior citizen: £9/€10. U-16s: free. Stand, adult: £20/€25. Senior citizen: £12/€15. Child: £5/€5.
