Cavan captain Padraic O'Reilly has revealed that the players are 'annoyed with the County Board.

O'Reilly feels that the county board could have handled the dismissal of Val Andrews as senior football manager a lot better and the Cavan captain stressed to the Anglo-Celt that the removal had nothing to do with player power.

"The players are annoyed that it's being viewed as player power when its not. We're annoyed at the way it was handled by the county board, whether that be Tom Reilly or anyone else," stressed O'Reilly.

"We don't know how it got into the public forum that there was a vote when there clearly wasn't." Tweet
