Bradley delighted to have Ward on board
December 02, 2011
Antrim football manager Liam Bradley has been singing the praises of the team's new strength and conditioning coach, and former Ulster and Ireland rugby international, Andy Ward.
"It is a very positive development for Antrim," Bradley said in the Irish News.
"Any of the conversations I have had with him, listening to him I am actually learning as well. It can only be good for us.
"At the end of last season, I knew that Paddy (McNeill) and Niall (Conway) were moving on and we had to freshen things up. So I was delighted whenever I asked Andy Ward to come on board, delighted whenever I asked Paul McFlynn and Gearoid Adams to come on board.
"I think they will add freshness to the panel, add new ideas and hopefully we will get benefits early on in our league campaign."
