Seanie O'Shea will be ratified as Kerry's new minor hurling manager at a county board meeting on December 5.

A brother of former Kerry football manager Pat O'Shea, Seanie played senior hurling for the Kingdom in the 1990s and was part of the team that recorded a shock victory over Waterford in the 1993 Munster SHC. He was also a member of the Dr Crokes team that won the All-Ireland club football championship in 1992, and returned to train the Killarney club in later years.
