Glenties celebrate their Ulster Club SFC semi final win over Coalisland at Brewster Park.
Naomh Conaill (Glenties) are through to their first AIB Ulster club SFC final after they hung on for a dramatic victory over Coalisland in the fog at Brewster Park yesterday.

Naomh Conaill (Donegal) 1-10
Coalisland (Tyrone) 1-9

Tyrone 'keeper Johnny Curran had opportunities from two 45s in injury-time to force extra-time, but could not find the distance from either effort, much to the relief of the Donegal champions who will now face the might of Crossmaglen Rangers in the provincial decider.

Glenties settled quickest and led by 0-3 to 0-1 by the 10th minute thanks to points from John O'Malley, Eoin Wade and Dermot 'Brick' Molloy. Paddy McNeice had just registered his second point for the Tyrone champions when Dara Gallagher finished off a brilliant five-man move with a Glenties goal in the 19th minute.

The winners led by 1-7 to 0-6 at the interval, and another Molloy point pushed them five clear on the restart. But Coalisland rallied with efforts from Brian Toner, McNiece and Dermot Thornton.

Then, with 10 minutes remaining, Plunkett Kane struck a Coalisland goal to put them a point up. But they were not to score again as late points from Molloy and goal-scorer Gallagher edged Naomh Conaill over the line.
