Limerick football manager Mickey Ned O'Sullivan
Limerick football boss Mickey Ned O'Sullivan says his team needs to win in Aughrim on Sunday.

After securing three successive victories, the Treaty County were pipped by Waterford in the Gaelic Grounds last weekend. Their manager feels that his injury-ravaged side needs to bounce back with an away win over Wicklow to sustain their promotion challenge:

"We need to win this weekend. We need to push on towards promotion.

"To go up to Wicklow and win with an understrength team will be difficult - but not impossible. It would be challenging with a full-strength team.

"To have three wins out of four and to have tried out 28 players is good. Lads are getting blooded and they are good.

"With the injuries, we don't have the comfort zone of starting players with a strong backbone of regulars. But if we were to win on Sunday it would put pressure on some of the injured players to get their places back."
