Rogers hopes for crowded house

Carlow's John Rogers
Carlow hurler John Rogers hopes the home supporters come out for their key clashes with Wexford and Clare.
The Barrowsiders host the two 'big guns' in Division Two over successive weekends in games that will effectively determine the final shape of things in the race for promotion.
Looking forward to the back-to-back games, Rogers notes:
"The support is great on the big days like the Christy Ring finals and having the support and the crowd behind you does make a difference.
"This year more than ever, we are playing better than we ever have.
"We would love to play in front of a crowd but we are realistic enough to know that it's the 14 lads on the pitch who help you out on a given day."
