Cork facing anxious wait

The Cork county board are facing an anxious wait to discover whether any of their players will be hit with disciplinary measures by the Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) after Sunday's win over Kilkenny.
In what was a fiery clash at Pairc Ui Chaoimh, one particular incident stood out just before half-time when a row between several players on both sides occurred and ended with Kilkenny's Michael Grace being shown a straight red card be referee Dickie Murphy.
However, Murphy could be asked by the CCCC to review the incidents of the game on video tape and could decide to take action against some of the Cork and Kilkenny players who were involved.
If Murphy decides that he didn't act accordingly and wants players to be punished, Croke Park's disciplinary body could issue suspensions to the guilty parties.
