Sean McGrath hit 1-10 as Dublin's Colaiste Eoin booked their place in the second round of the Leinster Colleges SHC 'A' at the expense of St. Mary's CBS, Enniscorthy yesterday. Colaiste Eoin 1-16 St. Mary's CBS 4-4 McGrath proved deadly accurate from frees as Colaiste Eoin eased into a 0-7 to 0-4 lead, but Colm Kehoe then scored the first of his three goals to bring the Wexford boys onto level terms at the break, 1-4 to 0-7. The Dubliners regained the initiative after the restart, but a 39th minute goal from Kehoe kept St. Mary's in it. Colaiste Eoin led by 1-12 to 2-4 after 42 minutes, but goals in quick succession from Kehoe and Liam Roche had Enniscorthy 4-4 to 1-12 ahead with a quarter of an hour still to play. But Colaiste Eoin steadied the ship and four unanswered points from McGrath, Donal Sutcliffe, Marc Schvitte and Jude MacSuibhne saw them through. Tweet
