Edendork moved into the last four of the Ulster club senior football championship after edging out Antrim's St Brigid’s by 1-15 to 2-11 in Dungannon this evening.
The Tyrone champions led 1-10 to 1-5 at half-time after both sides found the net, with Niall Morgan’s two-pointer helping them establish an early advantage before Joseph Finnegan struck for St Brigid’s in the 19th minute.
Darren McCurry led the Edendork scoring with five points, including a crucial effort in the 56th minute.
St Brigid’s threatened a late comeback when Paul Bradley converted a penalty with three minutes remaining, but despite Joseph Logan adding another point in the closing stages, Edendork held on for a one-point victory.
Having also overcome Down champions Clonduff in the preliminary round, Edendork will now face Crossmaglen Rangers in the Ulster semi-finals the weekend after next following the Armagh kingpins' dramatic late victory over Cavan champions Gowna last night.
