Roscommon moved to the top of the Allianz Hurling League Division 3 table with a 5-18 to 2-22 win over Fermanagh in Enniskillen this afternoon.
The visitors netted all of their goals in the first-half via Cian Murray, Conor Morris, Sean Canning (2) and Conor Mulry to take in a 5-11 to 0-13 lead at the interval.
The second-half saw Fermanagh battling back with the help of goals from Danann McKeogh and Sean Corrigan, but they wouldn’t be enough to save them from a fifth straight defeat as the Rossies won out by five which sets up a promotion showdown against Donegal next Saturday week at Dr Hyde Park/
Wicklow’s 0-21 to 0-14 win over Donegal at O’Donnell Park this afternoon sees the Garden men right in the hunt as well ahead of their final round meeting with Louth.
Jonathan O’Neill’s side were led by full-forward Padraig Doyle (0-11) as they led by 0-11 to 0-6 at half-time at the Letterkenny ground and saw points from Jack Phelan, Doyle and Sam O’Dowd increase their advantage to seven.
Josh Cronnolly McGee and Gerard Gilmore (two frees) pulled back late points for the home side, but they wouldn’t be enough to save them from a first defeat of the campaign.

After Wicklow's surprise win over Donegal today, Roscommon can secure promotion by beating Donegal in the Hyde on Saturday 21st March @ 2pm
If Louth were to beat Wicklow, in Wicklow, this would also see the Rossie's promoted #gaa https://t.co/4ypiWw4Djz
