Tributes have been pouring in for Kieran O'Connor, the former Cork footballer and 2010 All-Ireland SFC winner who died this morning at the age of 41 following a long illness.
Very saddened to hear of the passing Kieran O'Connor. I was fortunate to play with Kieran with Aghada, and he was someone all of us aspired to be like. A true gentleman both on and off the field. Thoughts and prayers go out to the O'Connor family at this time. #friendsofkieran https://t.co/LqSq5mLxub

Sad sad day for Aghada, Cork Gaa and especially the O Connor family in the loss of a true Gent in Kieran. A fantastic person and a top class footballer. Had the pleasure to share a dressing room with him and also took a few roastings off him. RIP
