The idea of playing All-Ireland SFC and SHC finals in the depths of winter has captured the imagination of GAA supporters.
It became a reality today when the GAA finalised their plans for the remainder of the 2020 inter-county season, with the football final to take place on December 19, six days before Christmas. The hurling decider will be staged on December 13.

Wouldn't crib with many of the decisions outlined by the #GAA today but no provincial/All-Ireland club series is the big one. Only requires six weekends, should be run early next year. Means much more to players than National League, which will presumably take place at that time.
