Waterford decide to scrap relegation from senior ranks

No relegation from 2020 Waterford SHC and SFC.
There will be no relegation from the 2020 Waterford senior hurling and football championships after all.
An online county board meeting last night saw the draws for the rescheduled competitions take place and it was also decided to scrap relegation.
Under a new format, the SHC will be run off in 30 days from August bank holiday weekend to 30 August, and then the SFC is pencilled in for 5 September.
The fixtures will be announced in due course.
