Footage has emerged of one of the greatest GAA comebacks that happened on this day in 1993 when Fermanagh were on the brink of claiming their first championship win over Armagh in 27 years.
The Erne men had led their neighbours by 1-15 to 1-7 with a couple of minutes of normal time remaining at the Athletic Grounds. Then the drama unfolded as Armagh somehow snatched a 4-8 to 1-16 victory.
In a dramatic finish, Denis Hollywood came off the bench to hit 2-1 and John Grimley also found the net as Armagh stunned Fermanagh in the Ulster SFC preliminary round replay. The sides drew 1-9 apiece in the original game at Irvinestown on the previous Sunday.
