Declan Hannon will captain the Limerick senior hurlers again in 2020.

Limerick GAA have confirmed that their 2018 All-Ireland winning captain is being kept on in the role for a third successive season, according to The Limerick Leader.

The Adare clubman also captained the Treaty County to national hurling league and Munster SHC glory last year.

Meanwhile, 2018 Hurler of the Year Cian Lynch succeeds the retired Paul Browne as vice-captain. The Patrickswell ace captained Limerick to the Munster league title earlier this month.
