Cavan GAA has paid tribute to former county star Frankie Kennedy who passed away yesterday.
The Drumlane clubman was wing forward on the Cavan minor team that won an Ulster title in 1959 before going on to lose the All-Ireland final to Dublin. He went on to win an Ulster SFC medal with the Breffni County in 1964.
Predeceased by his wife Ursula, Frankie is survived by daughter Caroline, son Donal, partner Nancy, son-in-law Pauric, daughter-in-law Andrea, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, extended family and friends.
His Funeral Mass will take place at St Mary's Church, Staghall, Belturbet at 12pm tomorrow, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
