The draws for the 2020 Limerick senior hurling and football championships were made at Monday night’s annual county convention at the Woodlands House Hotel.
Senior hurling champions Patrickswell have been drawn into Group 1 alongside 2016 All-Ireland winners Na Piarsaigh, while Murroe-Boher, South Liberties and Garryspillane make up half the teams in Group 2.
In the senior football championship, defending champions Newcastle West and beaten finalists Oola have been kept apart after being drawn into Groups 1 and 2, respectively.
Limerick SHC draw:
Group 1: Ahane, Na Piarsaigh, Kilmallock, Doon, Patrickswell, Adare
Group 2: Murroe-Boher, Monaleen, South Liberties, Garryspillane, Ballybrown, Blackrock.
Limerick SFC draw:
Group 1: Dromcollogher-Broadford, Newcastle West, Fr Caseys, Galtee Gaels, Monaleen, Ballysteen
Group 2: Ballylanders, Adare, St Kierans, Oola, Galbally, Na Piarsaigh
