Tooreen are Connacht club intermediate hurling champions

Mayo's Tooreen got the better of Kinvara (Galway) in today’s Connacht Club IHC final in Athleague.

The Mayo outfit prevailed on a scoreline of 0-21 to 2-10 having led by 0-11 to 1-3 at the change of ends.

Shane Boland was chosen as the ‘man-of-the-match’ after his 0-11 haul while victorious captain Stephen Coyne was presented with the trophy by Connacht GAA President Gerry McGovern.
