The Mayo SFC has reached the quarter-final stage following the completion of the round-robin series over the weekend.

Champions Ballintubber are joined in the last-eight by Castlebar Mitchels, Ballina Stephenites, Knockmore, Breaffy, Davitts, Ballaghaderreen and Belmullet. The quarter-finals will be played on the weekend of September 21/22 with the draw taking place tomorrow at 8pm.

The standout result of the weekend was Ballina's 1-14 to 0-11 victory over Westport in Group 2. Sean Regan scored the only goal as Westport finished their group campaign without a win.

Davitts surprisingly qualified from Group 1 along with last year's runners-up Breaffy thanks to a 3-14 to 2-8 win over Kiltane. Knockmore qualified from Group 3 along with Ballintubber after beating relegation-threatened Hollymount/Carramore on a 2-14 to 2-9 scoreline.

Ballintubber will go into the knockout stages on the back of a 1-12 to 2-12 loss to Garrymore.
