Galway GAA are in mourning following the sad passing of the legendary Tom 'Pook' Dillon yesterday.
Tom – who was 93 years of age - lined out at left corner-back on the Galway team that claimed the 1956 All-Ireland SFC title courtesy of a 2-13 to 3-7 final victory over Cork.
He was an Honorary President of Ahascragh/Fohenagh GAA and the club has paid tribute to him on Twitter:
