Leitrim supporters could cause traffic jams on Saturday afternoon

Coach operators in Leitrim are bringing in extra buses to meet the demand for their services ahead of Saturday’s FL4 final against Derry at Croke Park.

There looks set to be a mass exodus from the county this weekend as supporters are set to flock in their thousands to see their county take on the Ulster side in the league final.

Promotion has already been secured a few weeks back, but a day out in Croke Park has certainly whetted Leitrim supporters’ appetite as they are set to travel from all over the world to see their team play at GAA headquarters.

The Leitrim Observer reports that bus and coach operators have had to look outside the county for extra buses to carry passengers to Croker.

Throw in for the game is at 3pm and it will be followed by the FL2 final between Meath and Donegal at 5pm.
