Ronan McNamee will almost certainly miss Tyrone's vital all-Ulster Super 8s meeting with Donegal this weekend.

The neighbouring counties meet at Ballybofey on Sunday, with an All-Ireland SFC semi-final place on the line, and Red Hands full back McNamee is extremely doubtful due to a calf problem sustained against Dublin.

The Aghyaran clubman picked up the injury in an accidental collision with a team-mate at Healy Park last Saturday week and manager Mickey Harte admits he is in a race against time to feature against the Ulster champions.

The Red Hands defence is already depleted, with Cathal McCarron ruled out for the season with a knee injury, while Donegal will be without their defensive dynamo Eoghan Ban Gallagher as well as attacking talisman Patrick McBrearty.
