UCD have sprung a surprise by including Con O'Callaghan at corner-forward for tonight's Sigerson Cup semi-final clash against UUJ in Inniskeen.

The 2017 Young Footballer of the Year sat out John Divilly's side's first round and quarter-final victories over NUI Maynooth and DCU, respectively, as well as Dublin's opening three Allianz league games to focus on club hurling commitments with Cuala.

Last Saturday saw the Dalkey club qualify for their second successive All-Ireland SHC final after victory over Liam Mellows but with the decider against Na Piarsaigh five weeks away, Con has now turned his attention to the Sigerson Cup and helping his college regain their crown.
