Limerick have suffered a blow with the news that Darragh O'Donovan is set to miss the remainder of the Allianz hurling league while there are question marks over Aaron Gillane's fitness ahead of Sunday's clash with Dublin.

A broken finger means O'Donovan will be sidelined for the league while manager John Kiely rates Gillane's chances of featuring against Dublin this Saturday evening as '50/50'.

"Unfortunately, Darragh will be ruled out for a number of weeks," Kiely informed the Limerick Leader.

"It's really disappointing for him because he was showing great form and working really hard.

"Aaron rolled his ankle in the Offaly game and is still rehabbing - he is 50/50."

Kiely delivered more positive news on Declan Hannon, Graeme Mulcahy and William O'Meara.

All three are in the reckoning for selection this weekend.
