Gavin in dispute with RTÉ

Dublin manager Jim Gavin is involved in another stand-off with RTÉ.

The three-time All-Ireland winning manager turned down interview requests from the national broadcaster following their recent Allianz FL wins over Tyrone and Donegal.

The Irish Independent reports that the provision of DVD recordings of recent Dublin games for analysis purposes is the source of discontent.

Gavin has also refused to co-operate with RTÉ Radio over the last two weekends.

Last year, the Round Towers clubman adopted a similar tactic following their Leinster SFC semi-final win over Westmeath.

At the time, he cited the 'Sunday Game' analysis of Diarmuid Connolly's confrontation with linesman Ciarán Branagan during their quarter-final win over Carlow as the reason.
