Tyrone captain Mattie Donnelly led by example when kicking the winning point in stoppage time of today's Division 1 clash with Kildare in Newbridge.
The Trillick clubman denied the Lilywhites their first point of the campaign when finding the target with his left boot deep into injury-time.
It finished 1-16 to 0-18 in favour of Mickey Harte's visitors and now that they have their first win under their belt, the Red Hands will look to continue their winning ways when they take on Monaghan in round 3.
