Home or away? Armagh netminder Philip McEvoy doesn't believe the venue has any relevance when it comes to games in the Ulster SFC.

The Orchard County travel to Kingspan Breffni Park on Sunday to take on Cavan in the preliminary round of the Anglo Celt Cup and the Dromintee clubman has revealed they are concentrating on how they are going to play rather than where.

"Cavan have been the team to beat at underage level in Ulster the past few years and this momentum and feel good factor is steadily progressing itself into the senior team," McEvoy remarked to Gaelic Life.

"No doubt they'll be looking forward to playing us in their own backyard.

"To be honest when it comes to the Ulster Championship it doesn't matter if you are playing at home or away or at the side of a mountain, it's a championship match and that's all that matters.

"We are not thinking about where we are going to play all we will be thinking about is how we are going to play and making sure that we give it our all across the field and work as hard as possible and let the score board look after itself.

"With that mindset playing away from home has no relevance really whatsoever."

McEvoy is enjoying life on the Armagh panel under the management of Paul Grimley.

"Paul is the kind of manager I enjoy playing for. He is a straight talker who will commend you when you've done well but also let you know in no uncertain terms he feels you should have done better.

"He is always communicating with you and always ensures that everyone feels part of the team, which is excellent."
