Assistant manager Kieran Donnelly has claimed Armagh SFC finals aren't the same without Crossmaglen in them.

"If Crossmaglen's not there, it's not a county final," Donal Murtagh's right-hand man told the Irish News after Cross' defeated Cullyhanna to reach yet another Fagan Cup decider against Ballymacnab on October 21.

"That's not being ignorant of anything, but it's just where we want to be. We're just delighted to get back and we're looking forward to two weeks' time."

Cross' hammered Ballymacnab in their last county final meeting seven years ago, but Donnelly doesn't envisage a repeat of that result this year.

"We've a big task in two weeks' time - it's a task and-and-a-half," he maintained.

"This year they've beaten us twice, they've put in a serious effort and they're a brilliant club. It's massive for them and they'll be looking forward to playing us, there's no doubt about it. It should be a good game."
