Kieran McGeeney has expressed surprise at the choice of referee for tomorrow week's All-Ireland football qualifier between Armagh and Sligo.
Tyrone's Sean Hurson will take charge of the second round tie in Markievicz Park, despite Sligo manager Cathal Corey being also a Tyrone man and there being no love lost between Armagh and the Red Hands.
"It's a Tyrone referee... good job it's not a Tyrone man," was the Armagh manager's reaction when asked about the appointment by the Irish News.
McGeeney had previously said: "Everyone thinks I pick on referees - I don't. I think most of our referees are very, very good."
