Down's Graham Clarke
Down goalkeeper Graham Clarke followed up last weekend's Poc Fada victory in the Cooley Mountains with another long puck triumph under the gaze of unionist founding father Edward Carson at Stormont on Saturday.
Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams played a key role in relocating the Feile an Phobail event from west Belfast to the lawns of Northern Ireland's Parliament Buildings and it attracted a team of politicians, media personalities and inter-county hurling stars.
Among those taking part were local boxing hero Martin Rogan, RTE sports commentator Marty Morrissey and Gerry Adams himself.
The 'celebrity' event was won by BBC sports presenter Mark Sidebottom with the senior title going to Graham Clarke.
The poc fada trophy was named after Edward Carson, who is believed to have played hurling in his student days at Trinity College, Dublin.
