Antrim's Aodhan Gallagher
St Gall's midfielder Aodhan Gallagher has said that his team will give All-Ireland club SFC final opponents Kilmurry-Ibrickane the respect they are due when the two sides clash at Croke Park.

After viewing clips of their semi-final win over Portlaoise, Gallagher has described the Clare and Munster champions as a team that are "flying" at present and expects a tough test when Gall's meet them head on this St Patrick's Day at GAA HQ.

"I saw the highlights on RTE and they looked like they were flying. They are very quick up front and we will need to do our homework," said Gallagher.

"We need to look at the video and try and negate their strengths. Kilmurry are in the final because they are a good team. We will give them the respect they are due and we will set out our stall to win the game."

Speaking after his own team's defeat of Corofin at the weekend, Gallagher singled out his midfield partner Mark McRory for praise in helping the Antrim club reach their first All-Ireland decider in four years.

"Mark has come back and he was a breath of fresh air. He was one of the mature heads who was talking before extra-time.

"He is the type of player you need when you are going for this type of competition and we are lucky to have him."
