Brady glad he stayed around

Antrim's Kevin Brady
Kevin Brady has spoken of his delight at being part of the first Antrim team to reach the Ulster SFC final in 39 years.
Along with injured goalkeeper Sean McGreevy, the centre forward is the Saffrons' long-serving player, having made his championship debut way back in 1998. And after many setbacks and false dawns, he admitted he was glad he stayed around.
"The younger players are probably sick of myself and Sean (McGreevy) saying to them that they might never get another chance (to reach an Ulster final), but I'm glad I hung about and Sean's glad he hung about in order to see this day," he enthused.
"I can't put it into words what this means, but I hope maybe people will look back on 2009 and say that was the year that Antrim started to have some success in senior football.
"I hope it inspires all the young people around county Antrim."
Brady insists Antrim will hold no fears of facing Tyrone in the Ulster final.
"These young boys aren't really worried about the history, they want to make their own history," he added.
"They have no fear and hopefully that is the first of many Ulster finals for them. I'm just glad to be part of it."
