Newcomer McKeever focused on Donegal

Antrim's Niall McKeever
Aussie Rules target Niall McKeever says his sole focus is on Antrim's Ulster SFC quarter-final against Donegal on Sunday. Reports earlier this week suggested that the 20-year-old UUJ student has signed for a prominent AFL club, but he is staying tight-lipped on the matter. "I'm talking with Ricky Nixon (the controversial AFL agent) at the minute, and everything goes pretty much through Ricky," he said. "He has told me to refer the media to him. He's in contact a few times a week. I suppose there is nothing official yet. Anything I hear is from Ricky and I'm just focusing on this match at the minute." One of two debutants named in Antrim manager Liam Bradley's first championship team, McKeever cannot wait for the Sunday's game in Ballybofey to come around. "I am really looking forward to the game and everyone else in the panel is as well. We are definitely up against it, but I think we will get on alright."
