Donegal 6/4
Tyrone 3/1
Derry 7/1
Monaghan 15/2
Armagh 15/2
Down 17/2
Fermanagh 22/1
Cavan 33/1
Antrim 55/1

tough call this year.
would expect the winners of Donegal v Tyrone to win it ,but if its a tough game that produces suspensions and injuries Derry could reach the final.
on the other side of the draw Armagh and Monaghan will never get a better chance to reach the final and if Derry shock one of the big 2 we may see a shock Ulster win for Armagh or Monaghan.
Tyrone look the value bet at 3/1.
for me, i got a Tyrone v Monaghan final at 10/1 a while back.
if Donegal or Tyrone get past Derry the Ulster final will be a non event.

They way all this hype is going I could see Donegal or Tyrone getting caught on the hop in the semis by Down/Derry.

The winner of Donegal and Tyrone wins Ulster at a stroll this year.

The rest of the province hasn't a hope as far as I can see.

Wouldn't expect Down to figure but as you say Derry could cause a shock especially if either Tyrone or Donegal are understrenght after a tough game.If That happens Derry could be vunerable in the final.Ulster is very interesting this year due to the fact that the big teams are in the same side of the draw.

Can i borrow your crystal ball Mesamis?

All honesty though cna't see past Tyrone for everything this year. I said last year that they would win sam this year...not going to change my mind now.

League form is not always the best gauge to predict who will do well in the Ulster championship...

As bladecx says, ourselves and Monaghan have a great opportunity to get to the final. Optimistic it can be us but not optimistic enough to expect us to beat whoever comes out of the other side of the draw!

Having said that, if it were Tyrone we might have a better chance than Donegal - form counts a lot less in Tyrone/Armagh encounters!

Although Antrim are underdogs, I think they might give Monaghan a shock. They should have beat them last year in the championship. Although we were dreadful in the league, the championship is a whole lot different

It's a bit disrespectful to discount Down before the game is even played. Nonetheless I'm happy for Down to come in under the radar. The pressure is all on Derry, there seems to be a lot of hype over them, which I can't fully understand. Derry don't particularly cope well with the favourites tag either, they never have, especially in front of their expectant home support. The Down-Derry game is a 50/50 game in my opinion. I know there will be no Derry fans underestimating the challenge that Down will bring to Celtic Park on June 2.

Don't think the word stroll and winning an ulster championship can put in the same sentence!!

MourneArmy I apologise.i did not mean to disrespect Down.i agree that Down will give Derry a game but i could not see Down putting it up to Donegal or Tyrone whereas Derry would have the derby factor against either. On current Form Derry look a better bet than Down but as we know we can tear up the form book in the Ulster championship.(Minnows Monaghan beat all-Ireland champions Armagh in 2003).i am simply basing my opinion on current form and most probably i am way of the mark.but i am happy with my bet at 10/1 for a Tyrone V Monaghan final and was just wondering what way others see the Championship going.

Armagh or Monaghan will fancy getting to the ulster final with donegal or tyrone also, derry v down 50/50 winners will give the semi a rattle but probably come up short so the bookies rarely get it wrong.

even though the defending all Ireland champions are from ulster, it is the only province where the favourites for the provincial crown, are not odds on, like the other 3 provinces.it says a lot about the strength of the opposition and the province as a whole...

your odds are that because Tyrone are up first for you, if you beat Tyrone then check out your odds they will tumble.
kerrys odds will be same after first match,
Dublins odds will be more or less same after first match.
