Ferbane's Cian Johnson and Ben Conneely of St Rynagh's have been named as the Offaly senior footballer and hurler of the year respectively.
The pair, who starred in their clubs' county championship successes last month, will be honoured at the annual Offaly GAA awards night in the Bridge House Hotel, Tullamore on January 11 next. Bracknagh's Peter Cunningham and Seir Kieran's Joe Bergin are the senior 'B' football and hurling winners.
Kate Kenny, who helped Naomh Ciaran to an historic All-Ireland intermediate ladies football title yesterday, is the ladies footballer of the year, while St Rynagh's Linda Sullivan will receive the camogie award.
Meanwhile, All-Ireland winners Murt Connor (Walsh Island) and Aidan Fogarty (St Rynagh's) will be inducted into the Football and Hurling Hall of Fame.
