Murphy: Wicklow facing "uphill battle"
February 14, 2013

Wicklow football manager Harry Murphy
Harry Murphy admits Wicklow have their work cut out to stay in Division Three.
Last year's Division Four winners have suffered successive defeats to Fermanagh and Meath in their first two 2013 national football league outings and their manager concedes that it's not the start he was hoping for:
"We would have been hoping to get two points out of the two games," the Garden County boss says in The Wicklow People. "We would have been happy if we'd gotten one win out of the two but unfortunately we got nothing.
"It's going to be an uphill battle but we're in the same position as we were in last year: we'd lost the first two games and the lads regrouped and we got things sorted out.
"We got back and we fought hard and we got promoted. Hopefully we can turn this one around as well."
