Busy Time Ahead 

 

Lots of fun and games on the offer over the next few weeks beginning with the serious business on 24 November with the staging of the Annual General Meeting. This is the curtain raiser to what will be a weekend of fun and games.

 

Friday 25 November at 7.00 pm: Medal Presentation with Denis Corroon and Killian Daly doing the honours. The 2022 Under-13 and Under-15 League medals and the 2021 Under-15 Féile medals are wrapped and ready for presentation. 

 

Saturday 26 November at 2.30 pm: Festival of Football and Parade with Mullingar Town Band involving Go Games Age Groups. 

 

Saturday 26 November at 8.30 pm: Volunteer Appreciation Night with live music by Declan Colgan.

 

Thursday 8 December at 3.00 pm: Remember in the pre-Covid Days we hosted Aussie Rules Players. Well they are back on the 8 December when 36 AFL boys under-16 will be entertained in Springfield and we will play them in two matches. We do need some volunteers to provide overnight accommodation for the lads. 

 

Saturday 10 December: The 10th Anniversary of the 2012 Senior Championship title win will be celebrated with a team and panel reunion. Ritchie Daly and team captain Kieran Gavin are busy organizing this event and the 30th Anniversary of the 1992 title win will also be acknowledged. 

AND save the date Saturday 28 January 2023 for the Mullingar Shamrocks 70th Birthday Banquet in the Mullingar Park Hotel.
