Scór Tráth na gCeist Final

 

There was no All-Ireland title for our team in the Tráth na gCeist final on  Saturday in Castlebar but  Davy Gavin, Ritchie and Conor McKenna and Tom Hunt performed excellently and finished in sixth place overall, just points short of making the last three and the individual rounds of the final stage of the competition. A special word of thanks to Ritchie McKenna who returned early from a business trip to the USA to compete in the final. 

 

Player Athletic Development Program: a superb initiative.

 

Under the guidance of our new Games Promotion Officer (GPO) Eanna Holland, Mullingar Shamrocks began the club's Player Athletic Development Program on Thursday evening catering for boys in the Under-13, Under-15 and Under-17 age groups. 

 

The program will continue over the next four Thursday evenings in the Club Gym and will finish on December 8th for the boys. During the 5 weeks players will be introduced to Strength exercises, Recovery information and Nutrition information. A similar program for girls will begin on Saturday.  All players will be supervised at all times. Helping out on Thursday evening were Liam O'Reilly, Micheál Burke, Oisin Masterson, Seamus Wallace and Ollie Keating.

 

Annual General Meeting

 

The date for the 2022 AGM is Thursday 24 November 2022. 

The Meeting is open to Full, Student and Social Members. The meeting will be conducted at the Clubhouse, Springfield.  Motions for inclusion in the meeting need to be submitted in writing by 14 November 2022 to the Club Secretary by email [email protected]. 

To facilitate the smooth running of the AGM, members are invited to submit questions to the Secretary in advance of the meeting, but no later than 12pm on 22 November 2022. 

It is vital that we, as members, show our support for the Executive, so please ensure you attend this Annual General Meeting. The members of the Executive look forward to your attendance on 24 November.
