At our recent management meeting, the following arrangements were put in place for our AGM:

Date for meeting is Sunday, December 11th with nominations to be with club secretary Marie Lynagh by this Friday, November 18.

Chairman Ken Scally, Secretary Marie Lynagh and Treasurer Martin Dowdall all indicated they are stepping down from their roles. Nominations can be emailed to Marie.

With senior club officers stepping down, it is important that members give serious consideration to nominations. Also please note that the club executive has sole right to appoint all sub-committees and managers, coaches, selectors etc.

Lotto

Last week’s lucky numbers were 6, 8, 8 and 20. Eamon Cunnigham was the Match 3 winner. Thanks to everyone for their support. This week’s jackpot is €13,900. You can purchase your tickets in local shops or online.

Aidan Gorry still going strong

Twenty-two years after famously scoring 2-7 for us in an IFC final win over Ballymore, Aidan Gorry helped his adopted Coralstown/Kinnegad to an extra-time victory over St Mary’s, Rochfortbridge in last Saturday’s JFC ‘B’ final. Well done Aidan!

End-of-year awards

With another busy season drawing to a close, our U13 and U15 footballers were treated to an end-of-year party in St James’ Park last Friday evening.

Awards were presented to the following – U13 Player of the Year Thomas Carroll; U15 Player of the Year Joao Victor Godoi; U13 Most Improved Player Guy Larkin; U15 Most Improved Player Glem Diaz.

Our underage mentors also enjoyed a well-deserved night out in McNamara’s last Saturday.

The late Mary Nannery

Deepest sympathy is extended to Paddy, Padraig and the Nannery family, Moycashel on Mary's passing. Mary washed the Kilbeggan jerseys for many years. RIP.
