IFC v Multyfarnham

Our intermediate status will be on the line when we face Multyfarnham in our final championship game of the year in Ballymore next Saturday, October 2 at 4pm.

A draw would suffice as we have one point more than Multy in Section B, but the objective will be to secure that elusive win and end the campaign on a high. Best of luck to all involved.

U15 Shield winners

Congratulations to Cillian Rochford, Conor Mullins, Brendan Fox, Ryan Maloney and Jacob Browne who were part of the U15 Cill Oige panel that defeated Millmore Gaels 8-12 to 5-11 after extra-time in last Saturday’s Division 2 Shield final.

Special mention to Cillian who scored 4-8 in an outstanding performance.

‘Climb A Hill for Jack & Jill’

Well done to our ladies footballers who climbed Croghan Hill last Sunday morning in support of the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation.

Their next junior championship game will be against Cill Oige on Sunday week, October 10 at 11am (venue to be confirmed).

Keep Walking, Keep Well

Last weekend saw the launch of a six-week programme in conjunction with Healthy Ireland where we are opening the pitch to the community every Saturday and Sunday morning from 10am to 11am to encourage everyone to Get Walking.

The programme will run until October 31.

Lotto

Last week’s lucky numbers were 3, 4, 10 and 24. The draw winners were Mai Cunningham and Shane Buggy.

Thanks to everyone for their support. This week’s jackpot is €5,600. The draw takes place every Tuesday at 8pm live on our Facebook page. You can purchase your tickets in local shops or online https://www.klubfunder.com/Clubs/Kilbeggan_Shamrocks
