Westmeath manager Shane O'Brien has opted for an unchanged team from the side which beat Kerry in the Joe McDonagh Cup final for this evening's Allianz Hurling League Division 1 relegation play-off against Laois at MW Hire O'Moore Park.

The Lake County secured their return to the Leinster and All-Ireland SHC in 2022 with an impressive 2-28 to 1-24 win at Croke Park but will be desperate to consolidate their position as a 'top tier' team in the league when they travel to Portlaoise.

Subs: Aaron McHugh, Brendan Doyle, Shane Clavin, Peadar Scally, Kevin Regan, Alan Cox, Darragh Clinton, Josh Coll, Derek McNicholas, Shane Williams, Jack Galvin.
