Patrons Wall

Castletown Geoghegan Park Development

With work well underway on the new complex it is intended to erect a ‘PATRONS WALL’ which will be located inside the new Clubhouse/Community Centre. The Patrons Wall will permanently display the names of those who wish to make a voluntary contribution of €300 to this project. Your name, your family name or the name of a loved one who may have passed can be featured and displayed for posterity.  

 An added benefit of your support will be that, if you are a PAYE worker, the Revenue Commissioner will contribute to the development.  The Revenue contribution will relate directly to the tax band that you are in. 

For Example: 

Your tax rate 20% ; €300 + Revenue  € 75 = €375 total to the development. 

Your tax rate 40% ; €300 + Revenue €200 = €500 total to the development. 

Over the coming weeks each house in the locality will be visited by volunteers who will have more details and a sample of what the wall and inscriptions will look like.

County

Congratulations to Aonghus, Niall, Shane and the lads involved who won the Joe McDonagh Final on Saturday. Great to have our clubmen involved in such success. Hard luck to David Lynch and the county footballers who narrowly missed out on a spot in the Leinster SFC Final. We are very proud of our clubmen.
