Green KM Initiative:  The green km initiative is officially up and running , with families allocated to a certain section along there road who will take ownership to gather litter on a weekly basis. So let’s get behind this and ensure our parish remains a litter zone. Over the past week the extent of littering on our parish has raised cause for concern . We would ask all those within the parish and outside of it to dispose of their litter appropriately, and report any sightings of illegal dumping immediately to Westmeath County Council and Gardai.

Walking Track: Times for the walking tracks lights are now 6.00pm to 10.00pm seven nights a week.

 

Lidl Ireland LGFA Initiative: Get involved in this brilliant initiative supporting Ladies Gaelic Football and hopefully our local Rosemount LGFA will benefit with a set of jerseys! Here are the easy steps: 1. From Monday, February 15th, download/open the Lidl Plus app and follow the prompts. 2. Select the club you want to support. 3. Spend over €30 in store and scan your Lidl Plus card to earn a stamp (over €60 = 2 stamps, over €90 = 3 stamps, etc.) 4. Collect 6 stamps and submit your completed stamp card by Sunday, April 11th  (users can submit multiple completed stamp cards).

 

We would like to congratulate and offer our best wishes to Vinny Cox who has been ratified as the new Westmeath Minor Football Manager for 2021. Vinny will be joined by fellow Rosemount man David Keane, David O’Shaughnessy from Garrycastle, John Duignan from Killucan, & Gary Devine from St. Lomans as selectors. Vinny will also have our current senior player Darren O’Connell as Strength & Conditioning Coach. Best to luck to Vinny and his team.
