Limerick will commence their Munster and All-Ireland senior hurling championship title defence away to Waterford next Spring.

Saturday saw the match up sequences for the 2023 Munster SHC confirmed, with John Kiely’s men up first against the Deise County at Walsh Park while Clare host Liam Cahill’s Tipperary.

Cork are not in action until Round 2 when they face Waterford at Pairc Ui Chaoimh and, now under new management in the form of Pat Ryan, the Rebels will be travelling to Limerick for their fifth and final game in the round robin series.

Dates and times for the games are set to be confirmed at a later date.
